I haven't been able to positively identify this moth yet, but I believe it's in the family Geometridae and possibly in the genus Idaea. Geometer moths are one of the largest families in North America, with more than 1,400 species, so I'm having a hard time with this one, being the novice that I am when it comes to bug ID.
