1/2/14 Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis). A signature and ubiquitous hawk of the West and other parts of North America. This handsome fellow was perched on the Engelmann Oak above the orchard.
3/28/14 Nesting pair on the Engelmann Oak at the top of the hill.
