Skippers, especially the orange ones, are a confusing group to me. Tiny, flighty, and seemingly highly variable, I can only say that I'm somewhat certain of the ID of the one on the butterfly bush in this shot. It's the right size, color, and within its range. Description from the Kaufman Focus Guide is as follows: "Antennae short...male yellow-orange with black stigma; wings with black toothed margins. Below hindwing yellow-orange with small brown spots of varying intensity. Females similar but more orange-brown above and below."
